The Challenge
Vejthani Hospital wanted to reach more people and to be easier to find in search, both at home and abroad.
Online, the hospital was not yet reaching the wider base of international patients it wanted. Primal needed a marketing strategy that would raise Vejthani Hospital’s presence in several markets at once, with content localised for each market and search engine optimisation (SEO) in many languages.
Our Approach
Multilingual SEO
Primal aimed to meet the demand that already existed in search. The approach was to localise content and improve the hospital’s visibility in search results in several languages, for several countries.
Primal optimised the content in 9 languages, each matched to the way people search in that market and what they look for.
On the site, the work covered search terms, user experience (UX) and technical SEO. Off the site, Primal worked on the authority of the hospital’s website.
Content
Primal used patient stories and doctor profiles, in video and in text, to introduce the hospital and its doctors.
Technical SEO
Primal made the website faster and improved how it works on mobile phones, for a better UX and higher rankings.
Featured Snippets
Primal structured the content so that Google could show it in featured snippets, the short answers that appear above the other search results.
Outcomes Achieved
Within 12 months, web traffic grew from 8M to 16M and 2.4K keywords reached page 1 of Google. International customers rose by 69%.
In the same 12 months, bookings that came from the international search work grew by 200%.
