The Challenge
SAMSON Truck produces truck tarpaulin covers in its own factory, and it sells and fits complete tarpaulin systems for truck trailers.
Its website had only just gone live, and the business had not run any online campaign before. The pages said little about its services and did little to turn a visit into a conversion, an action such as an order or an enquiry. The site had no blog posts either. With so little about the brand online, reaching new customers and keeping their interest was hard.

Our Approach
Primal drew up a detailed digital strategy for the new site. It joined keyword research with search engine optimisation (SEO) on the technical side of the site and work on the quality of the content.
On the site, the strategy asked for more content on each service and a rework of the pages already there. It also called for clearer calls to action (CTAs), meaning the buttons and lines that invite a visitor to take the next step. Each change aimed to hold visitors on the site and raise the share of visits that end in a conversion.
Away from the site, Primal looked for niche websites related to the products and know-how of the brand. Links from those websites were meant to send relevant visitors to SAMSON Truck and raise the authority of its website.
Outcomes Achieved
The work opened with research into keywords and content. Primal then went through the pages one by one and improved them, changed technical parts of the site so it performs better in search, and made the CTAs clearer so that more visits end in a conversion. Away from the site, the team worked alongside relevant niche websites to gain quality backlinks, which are links from those websites to the SAMSON Truck site, and to raise the authority of the domain.
Traffic and conversions rose across the website, and SAMSON Truck became easier to find online. Organic users, the people who arrive from unpaid search results, rose 112%. Product conversions rose 81%, and clicks rose 231%.
