The Challenge
The business sells products for parents and pet owners, from baby chairs and toys to everyday supplies for dogs and cats.
It first did well on Lazada, so Primal recommended a performance test on Shopee as a second marketplace. Shopee gave strong results at the peak of 2023-11. By 2024-03 the question was whether Shopee would work for the business as a long-term channel.

Our Approach
Primal drew up a strategy to grow orders on Shopee. The store took part in major campaigns such as always-on marketing (AWO), which runs continuously over the long term, and Shopee’s 3.3 D-Day sale.
We advised the client to put its best-selling products first in its promotions, and to create bundles that paired popular items with slower-selling ones, so both stood out to shoppers.
Outcomes Achieved
The campaigns ran through Shopee’s 3.3 D-Day. Purchases in 2024-03 were on a par with the 11.11 D-Day peak, and the promotions and bundles together brought a clear rise in purchases.
