The Challenge
MEMMOREAD is a website for people who prepare for the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) on their own. Studying for the exam alone is hard, so MEMMOREAD puts the information a learner needs in one place, as a knowledge repository for TOEIC self-study.
MEMMOREAD wanted to rank for the most competitive searches in its subject, such as “TOEIC” and its Thai spelling “โทอิค”. Competition for these keywords is intense, and Google changes its search algorithms often. After one of Google’s algorithm updates, the website had to meet Google’s quality guidelines more closely.
Primal saw that this called for a search engine optimisation (SEO) strategy focused on content authority, trust and technical improvements, so that the website could hold strong search positions over the long term.

Our Approach
Primal based the SEO strategy on Google’s EEAT principles (experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trustworthiness). The work raised the quality of the content, made the authors’ credentials clearer and improved the on-page SEO.
In-depth keyword research found the high-intent topics that TOEIC learners search for. Primal also gained links from authoritative websites and gave the content a clearer structure, with the aim of top positions in search results for competitive keywords.
Outcomes Achieved
The work began with a detailed review of the website’s content and technical SEO. Primal then improved the key pages, with deeper content, refined internal links and schema markup, the structured data that helps search engines understand a page.
To meet the EEAT principles, the content was backed by experts, cited authoritative sources and gained high-quality backlinks. A blog strategy targeted the TOEIC searches with the most traffic, to raise engagement and search rankings, and Primal monitored performance and adapted the work to algorithm changes throughout.
As a result, MEMMOREAD reached top positions for competitive keywords, and its organic key events grew 99% in 6 months. An organic key event is an action on the website that Google Analytics is set to record as important, made by a visitor who came from unpaid search results.
