How Cape Kudu Grew Organic New Users 160% In 4 Months

Project Scope: Strategy, Search, Data

The Challenge

Cape Kudu Hotel is a boutique hotel on Koh Yao Noi island. It wants guests to see it as an extraordinary holiday destination.

The hotel struggled to appear in Google searches. The main cause was its website design, which relied heavily on images and carried very little text, and that limited what search engine optimisation (SEO) could do for it. The site also had no blog. A blog with useful, relevant content would have helped the hotel improve its organic rankings and attract potential guests.

Our Approach

Primal recommended keywords with high search potential to raise the hotel’s visibility online. We then reviewed the website’s content and its technical set-up, so that the site followed current SEO good practice.

Content was central to the hotel’s visibility, so we proposed adding a blog section. We gave detailed guidance on blog topics and the keywords to use, with the aim of attracting more organic traffic and a higher conversion rate on the hotel’s website.

Outcomes Achieved

In the implementation phase, Primal placed the chosen keywords in the hotel’s main website pages and in the new blog articles. Technical changes improved the website structure and raised the share of text against images. The new blog was filled with search-friendly articles on topics that interest potential guests, which widened the site’s organic reach and engagement.

Together, these changes improved the hotel’s visibility in Google search, its organic traffic and its conversion rates, and gave Cape Kudu Hotel a stronger online presence and more potential for bookings.
