The Challenge
This company develops artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning technology for highly technical industries, with AI solutions that make back-office work simpler for the businesses it serves.
Its website relied on highly technical words and terms with low search volume, so it performed poorly in search and few people found it. The company wanted to make its website easier to find and to raise business-to-business (B2B) awareness of its services.

Our Approach
Primal set out a search engine optimisation (SEO) strategy. It started with keyword research based on search data from the company’s target audience, which found the relevant keywords that would make the website easier to find and bring the right people to it.
Primal also mapped out the content, with optimised service pages and high-quality blog posts, and a backlink strategy to raise the website’s authority and visibility. A detailed technical review of the website found the areas to improve, so the company could reach the goals it had set.
Outcomes Achieved
Primal then put the strategy into practice. The keywords from the research went into the content across the website, to improve its visibility in search and bring in the right visitors. The service pages were optimised, and new blog posts gave insights and solutions on AI and machine learning in highly technical industries. New high-quality backlinks raised the website’s authority and its search rankings, and the fixes from the technical review improved the site’s structure, code and user experience.
The website became easier to find, the company raised B2B awareness of its services, and its content presented it as a specialist in AI and machine learning. Within 6 months, new users rose 174%, organic traffic rose 170% and 90% of the keywords reached page 1 of Google.
